Kepala Batas Bihun Sdn. Bhd. (BIHO) is one of the established manufacturers in the field of Bihun, Laksa, and noodle products. The company, formerly known as JUNHUB Enterprise Sdn. Bhd., is also involved in the production of Tepung Beras, Mee, and Flat Noodle (Kuey Teow) products. The factory was established in 1949 and was renamed Kepala Batas Bihun Sdn. Bhd. in 2006. Throughout the years, the factory has continued to practise traditional methods in producing Bihun, Laksa, and related products.
In 2019, the factory was burnt down, and rebuilding activities began immediately. After nearly 3 years of preparation, the factory was rebuilt at its present location and resumed operations for Bihun and Laksa products. Subsequently, the production capacity was expanded to include Mee (noodles) in dried, fried, and instant forms (with seasoning), as well as suun.
To cater to the increasing trends and demands for food safety and quality from both local and overseas buyers, the company is committed to providing the best quality products while ensuring food safety for its customers and consumers. The management has implemented the GMP/HACCP system within the factory.
